Utrecht
The Province of Utrecht lies in the heart of the Netherlands. It is part of the 'Randstad' region; a huge delta metropolis that includes Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. The Randstad experiences a dynamic level of economic activity that easily competes with other major metropolitan regions in Europe and elsewhere has a rich mixture of companies, and is one of the major centers of commerce in the country. Utrecht is extremely strong in two areas that play an important role in business success - an outstanding infrastructure of business locations and facilities, and a highly educated multilingual work force. One of the best things about our province is that it offers residents the best of many worlds - beautiful nature, a relaxed lifestyle, and easy proximity to culture, entertainment and dynamic city life. The province of Utrecht has a land surface of 1,356 square kilometers with an average population density of 813 per square km.
