Located between Dusseldorf and Amsterdam airports and connected to major European highways and rail routes, over 70 companies and research organizations including the Wageningen University & Research Center (WUR), TNO Food & Nutrition, the Research Institute of Fishery, Unilever, Heineken, HJ Heinz and Nestle, comprise the region.
