Construction Starts on New Distribution Center at Port of Amsterdam

Location to House Six Warehouses

Construction recently began on a new distribution center in the Atlaspark section of the Port of Amsterdam. The new facility will cover an area of more than 1.1 million square feet, and will consist of six warehouses, ranging in size from 151,000 square feet to 237,000 square feet. Each warehouse will feature sprinkler systems, dock shelters, ground-level doors, and advanced stacking heights and floor loads.

Spearheaded and financed by David Hart Vastgoed (DHVG), the development is expected to enhance the current logistics industrial park. A similar DHVG project at the Port of Rotterdam has been extremely successful, and is now entirely leased.
