Martijn Bouwman

As NFIA area director based in Chicago, Martijn Bouwman assists companies in the Midwest establishing or expanding their European operations in the Netherlands concentrating his efforts in Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Milwaukee and St. Louis.

Prior to being appointed as area director, Mr. Bouwman worked for over three years as assistant area director at the NFIA Chicago office and gained expertise in advising companies on site selection and logistics strategies, as well as assisting them with the search process.

He started his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in The Hague as subsidy consultant where he helped companies with applying for a subsidy or grant.

Martijn Bouwman earned a master's degree in Public Administration from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. During his master's program, he also studied for five months in the US at Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
