Ard Crebas

As Area Director for the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) in its Atlanta office, Ard Crebas assists companies located mainly in Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania and Maryland.  He focuses on providing strategic advice and unbiased data to companies during their decision-making process to establish, expand or consolidate their pan-European operations in the Netherlands.  Crebas also maintains strong relationships with companies that have already established a Dutch presence.

Ard Crebas has a strong background in economic development and foreign direct investment.  Prior to this appointment, he temporarily headed the NFIA offices in New York and London where he was involved in assisting companies from a wide variety of industry sectors, including aerospace, food & nutrition, life sciences and creative industries.  Previously he was a project manager for the Development Agency East Netherlands, one of the regional economic development agencies in the Netherlands. He started his career at Bureau Bartels, a small consultant agency in the Netherlands.

He earned a Master's Degree in Spatial Sciences from Groningen University with a specialty in developing countries.
